Hmm,
I have the following thoughts about hammer.txt:
1) Do we want to keep it at all? We have Matt's "The HAMMER Filesystem"
document (http://apollo.backplane.com/DFlyMisc/hammer01.pdf) which seems
more up-to-date. Every document (manpage, pdf, handbook, wiki, .txt,
etc.) adds maintenance burden because it's yet another thing to think
about. By the way, Matt, what source format is the hammer01.pdf paper
in? Would it be possible to commit it to doc/ in source form?
2) If we want to keep and update it, would it be more suitable to add
the essence of it as an "IMPLEMENTATION NOTES" to hammer(5)? This way it
would be more accessible compared to being kept in /usr/src.
However, I'm not volunteering to update hammer.txt because my internal
HAMMER knowledge is limited. :)
