Description
I am trying to use AuthMechanisms with Sendmail and when applying the new
config, I get:
Warning: Option: AuthMechanisms requires SASL support (-DSASL)
I need to auth to a smarthost (plaintext). Could this be added to the
Sendmail options, or am I better off with another MTA for now?

We don't have SASL support in base. I believe the best is you will install a
SASL enabled sendmail/MTA from pkgsrc. closing for now.
