Description

The following will not cause /dev/serno to appear again on my test system:

echo "hide serno" >/tmp/t
devfsctl -a -f /tmp/t # hides correctly
echo "show serno" >/tmp/t
devfsctl -a -f /tmp/t # doesn't show up again

Closing this again for now.

I had been working on a VM with serial numbers until yesterday (Parallels),
switched today to a different one which doesn't have serial numbers (M$ Virtual
PC) and didn't actually check if /dev/serno was there in the first place.
