Redmine DragonFlyBSD - Bug #3338 (Resolved): SSL Error during pkg-bootstraphttps://bugs.dragonflybsd.org/issues/33382023-01-29T22:31:07Zaswell

So, when setting up a jail there is an issue...

After the jail is up and running and has internet access, I do the following:

# cd /usr

Just for good measure, downloaded source and rebuilt world/kernel and rebooted, but whatever is causing the problem remains.

Interestingly, a few other machines with recent 6.4 installs do not exhibit this issue.

Attempting to download RAW (CR2) files from camera, need DarkTable to convert files, but pkg install darktable (2.6.2) from Avalon complains about Wayland.

Compiling Darktable 2.6.2_1 via Synth causes graphics/giflib to fail, which is related to "reallocarray". Error log attached.

Did a search, found RedHat discussing issue, saying that "glibc now provides the reallocarray function prototype unless the user explicitly requires stricter conformance to a given standard."

https://developers.redhat.com/blog/2019/04/22/implicit-function-declarations-flexs-use-of-reallocarray/

This is not my area of expertise, but does issuing "cc -std=gnu99" during the compile cause this issue, and is there a way to resolve locally or does this need to be reported to the giflib maintainers?
DragonFlyBSD - Bug #3180 (Closed): LTE Modem as WANhttps://bugs.dragonflybsd.org/issues/31802019-02-28T06:20:47Zaswell

Attempting to use a Sierra MC7455 LTE Modem as WAN on DF based router does not work. Apparently the u3g kernel module used in FreeBSD supports a number of newer LTE modems, whereas the DF version of u3g is several years behind. Is it possible to sync the DF version of u3g with FreeBSD, in order to support newer LTE modems?
DragonFlyBSD - Bug #3166 (Resolved): ifconfig alias directive no longer workinghttps://bugs.dragonflybsd.org/issues/31662018-12-28T00:30:17Zaswell

After upgrading from 5.4 -> 5.4.1 an ifconfig directive long used in /etc/rc.conf no longer works.

ifconfig_xxx="DHCP"
ifconfig_xxx_alias0="link 00.11.22.33.44.55"

The alias link directive allows easily changing network cards on local machines which receive DHCP addresses based on mac address, without requiring changes to dhcpd.conf on router. However, after upgrading to 5.4.1 the directive no longer changes the mac address, causing machines to receive a different IP address from the router than what is expected by NSD and other machines on network.
DragonFlyBSD - Bug #3128 (Closed): netgraph7/ng_netflow does not compilehttps://bugs.dragonflybsd.org/issues/31282018-04-11T02:50:30Zaswell

Adding "WANTS_NETGRAPH7" to /etc/make.conf and "options NETGRAPH7" to kernel does not provide ng_netflow, as there is no Makefile: https://github.com/DragonFlyBSD/DragonFlyBSD/tree/master/sys/netgraph7/netflow

Creating Makefile and referencing either "netflow.c" or "ng_netflow.c" results in compilation errors.

Possible to use netflow in DF 5.x?
