Description

Hello,

I got ACPI related kernel panic during installation of the 1.6.0-RELEASE.
Could not get output via serial console and FreeBSD gdb won't show
something useful on my laptop.

Here a photos of debug output:

The problem has disappeared after the BIOS upgrade.

The chipset itself - Intel 945 - is supported, as that was what my old
system had. In case this comes up again, who is the maker of the BIOS?
What is the version of the BIOS?

Besides that, to say that this is an ACPI related problem, you need
to know if it doesn't panic when you boot with ACPI disabled --
but I believe you don't want to downgrade the BIOS just to confirm that :)
