In usr.sbin/installer/dfuibe_installer/fn_configure.c, it appears that if you answer "Yes" to the question "Is this machine's CMOS clock set to UTC?", the installer will add the file /etc/wall_cmos_clock, which is what should happen if the CMOS clock is set to local time. Tim
