Description

Hi

My Lenovo Yoga-3 has a M-5Y70 CPU with an Intel® HD Graphics 5300 GPU (Broadwell?) [1]. Is there any chance to get it attached to xf86-video-intel, now that Haswell is supported?

Broadwell graphics are not supported yet.

The drm/i915 kernel code is currently based on Linux 3.8.13 and Broadwell support was only added in Linux 3.13.

I have prepared an update of the drm/i915 driver adding broadwell support.

The details are in this mailing-list post:

Broadwell support has been pushed to master.

The Intel M-5Y70 gpu is now recognized by the agp driver after commit b12129b51a56b0271f75af823503f949fc3a29b0 .
