Will not boot on System76 Lemur Pro (lemp10)

Description

I booted a nightly img from 2020-10-18 off an USB2.0 stick, the port is USB3.1.

Please let me know if there are more details I can give or test something.

did you try a nightly img from 2020-10-18 or 2022? If 2020, please try a recent nightly from this year.

Good point. "Verbose boot logs" are from LATEST downloaded on 2022-11-03.

Allegedly, you can work around this by enabling CSM in BIOS, but I'm running a coreboot with a very limited featureset and I cannot change CSM settings.

I now updated laptop firmware & bios to the latest (2022) version. dfly no longer panics, it just deadlocks forever, see the deadlock.jpg screenshot (no matter safe boot, verbose boot, whatever, the boot always gets stuck on this stage with no extra information)
