Description

There are 2 hosts:

devel.a.xxx.com
devel.b.xxx.com

the actual host names are "devel.a" and "devel.b".

when you resolve "devel.a" to an IP, "devel.b" doesn't resolve. Then I
log onto the "recursive resolver" and rndc flush, then i can resolve
"devel.b" but "devel.a" doesnt resolve untill i do rndc flush again.

Whats going on?

Sanity check: what are the IPs for these two hosts?

i think it was to do with dns caching. it seems to work now. pretty
weird though. this can be closed for now.
