Avoiding an infinite loop during P-state changing on the hp6715s notebook.

Description
On the hp6715s (and maybe also on other AMD K8 systems) the rvo adjustment
can't be successfully applied when entering the P0 (== maximum clock frequency)
performance state. With this patch the rvo adjustment is allowed to fail silently
as in OpenBSD.
