From IRC: (@swildner) YRabbit: Rolinh: we could add a kernel option or tunable that lets either umodem or urndis detect, with the default being whichever device is more popular (which i don't know).

Well, may be test against vendor?

Here is patch.
I have no Huawei or HTC One, so patch is untested.
