closedLSI MegaRAID SATA 300-8X (or Intel SRCS28X) unsupported

Description
Hello!
It appears that LSI MegaRAID SATA 300-8X (or Intel SRCS28X) is not
supported controller under DragonFlyBSD. Generally megaraid2 driver
should support this controller.
I am willing to become test rabbit if it helps :)

The MegaRAID SATA 300-8X is supported by amr(4) in FreeBSD, I guess you
could update our version. I couldn't find out what changes are necessary
exactly, but perhaps you could share the PCI IDs?
Cheers,

I had to port amr driver from freebsd-6 to make my MegaRAID SATA
150-4, 64MB, PCI to work, unfortunatley this was just before the
release of 1.4 and there were made so many changes to the subsystems
right after it, so submiting my patch would have been useless anyways.
There are a lot of improvments in the freebsd-6 driver and I would
gladly assist with helping porting it / testing it if I can get some
assistance.
This card did not work under openbsd as of this spring.

I've been running this driver since last year without any panics or problems.

Tomaž, do you still have the hardware?
I could try and upgrade amr(4) but I don't have a controller here to test it.
Jontro, do you still have your old patch?

Yes, I do. It is currently being used for something else, but should return in about two weeks.

OK, I've finally updated the driver. It works here for me with a MegaRAID SATA
150-6 card. If you guys still have access to the adapters, I'd be interested
in your results.
The updated driver should appear on our snapshot ISOs within a day or so.

Thanks! Will try out in the next couple of weeks and post back my results

I'm closing this one. Our amr(4) should support everything FreeBSD does.
If there are still issues, feel free to reopen.
