Description
Some BIOSes do not correctly read RTC which means there is no timecount at boot time. The system boots immediately without giving the user a chance to choose a menu option. This patch gets rid of the annoying issue. It has no effect on systems that work properly. Changes brought in from FreeBSD.

Tested on a macbookpro: the patch solves the boot timecount problem.
