vkernel pc32 stalls on boot w/ 1CPU

Description
Hi,
Building a vkernel with the latest sources and running it on leaf stalls if
there is 1 virtual CPU at 'tryroot vkd0s0a'; 2+ CPUs works.

I also see this stall on normal (i.e. not virtual) kernel:
on i386 using SMP kernel on UP host.
SMP kernel worked on this host until December 12th.

vkernels are no supported anymore or at least until somebody is able to do the big changes they need. Also, pc32 was removed long ago.
