:I've been having issues with parallel builds on my SMP laptop (and I
:occansionally see this on ylem). Processes get stuck in the achicam
:state, and my disk is pretty much useless after that. I can't get a
:core dump, and in fact I can't even get the box to panic:

I think the rtorrent issue is different than your ahcicam issue.
    I've never seen the "ahcicam" issue before ever, it's a new issue.
    I can start running parallel builds on my laptop(s) to try to
    reproduce it.
