Date doesn't show in "top" on wide terminal

Description

The date in "top" is hidden on the top right corner if the terminal width is wider than 255 pixels

255 pixels would be less than 32 characters using a standard 8 pixels/character.

Are you saying date is hidden if an xterm is wider than 32 characters?

I wanted to mean "255 characters", when resizing konsole to the maximum width (1920 pixels), it displays more than 255 characters and the date isn't displayed anymore.

Outside of Dragonfly, I also found this bug in Illumos's top.
