I have taken a look at it. It looks quite reasonable to me. The only worry is
whether there are any third party apps rely on the old sysctl output format. It
may be better, if we add another sysctl nodes just for human readable outputs
and keep old sysctl nodes output format as they are.

As far as I can tell acpi_thermal is already using the sensors framework.
